

Born on January 20, 1940, Mary Anne was the beloved daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson and Marie Virginia (Bayne) Watts. She dedicated her life to faith, family, and quiet acts of service.
Mary Anne retired from the booking department of Columbia Gas Company, where she worked with integrity and diligence. Beyond her career, she was a devoted member of Shenandoah Heights Baptist Church in Waynesboro, where she faithfully attended and drew strength from her relationship with the Lord. Her unwavering faith shaped every part of her life, and she was known for her gentle kindness, steady wisdom, and warm smile.
She was preceded in death by her son, Wilson Robert Miller; her brother, Jimmy Watts; and her sister, Doris Jean Watts Morris.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: Scotty Miller and wife Kay, Patricia Zych and husband Konrad, Eric Miller and wife Barbara, Jerry Miller, and James Miller and wife Rose; and daughter-in-law, Sharon Miller. She is also remembered by her husband, James Lambert (separated). Mary Anne leaves behind many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her tremendous joy.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 1, 2025, at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, with the Rev. Dr. Paul LaPrevotte officiating. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Eric Miller, Konrad Zych, Jeremiah Miller, Shayne Zych, Scott Cline, Richard Watts and Jack Coffey.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at the Waynesboro Chapel, 618 W. Main St., Waynesboro.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate caregivers at Hospice of the Piedmont in Charlottesville and Greene Acres Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility in Stanardsville, whose kindness and devotion brought peace and comfort during Mary Anne's final days.
