

Born July 1, 1933 in Love, she was a daughter of the late Junius Blair and Lonie Evelyn (Lowery) Bridge.
Mary was a faithful member of Mountain View Mennonite Church, Lyndhurst where she was an active member of the Sewing Circle. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, taking pictures with her camera, gardening, canning, tending to her flower beds and sewing. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Franklyn Wright on September 29, 2020; grandson, Tyler Wright; siblings, Benjamin, Thelma, Hazel, Ruth, Rachel, Reginald, Leslie, Jesse, Joseph, Hershel and Dorothy.
Survivors include her four children, Ronnie Wright (Rena Rines), Donna Walsh (Jim), Phyllis Hostetler (Jesse), and D.F. Wright (Cindy); 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; twin sister, Martha Ramsey (Charles); sister, Naomi Brooks Maddox; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St., Waynesboro.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Mountain View Mennonite Church, 55 Love Road, Lyndhurst with Pastor Earl Monroe officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Ronnie Wright, D.F. Wright, Tanner Wright, Paul Jones, Brett Hostetler, Bryan Hostetler, Jim Walsh, Jesse Hostetler, Seth Gardner, and Lee Spurling.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brittany Jones, Lauren Gardner, Jessah Van Oekel, Kasey Spurling, Carmen Hewitt, Rena Rines, Cindy Wright, Cara Wright, Caitlin Wright, Rachel Walsh, and her nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Meadows at the Stuarts Draft Retirement Community and Hospice of the Shenandoah for all of the love and care shown to Mary and the family.
