Born on October 27, 1941 in Waynesboro, he was a son of the late Mark Eli and Mary Elizabeth (Goode) Weatherholtz.
On June 9, 1967, Mickey married the love of his life, Yvonne. The two shared a blessed union of 46 years together.
Mickey attended Sherlynd Baptist Church. He was a former sales associate with Paul Freed Ford and Jim Snead Ford. He retired from NIbco of Stuarts Draft. Mickey enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be truly missed by those who knew him as a wonderful devoted father, grandfather and a true friend.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne (Stinespring) Weatherholtz on January 26, 2013, and by his siblings, Paul Weatherholtz and Juanita Conner.
Survivors include his daughters, Teresa Kline and husband, Gary of Fishersville, Cynthia Vaught and husband, Gregg of Stuarts Draft; granddaughter, Hannah Vaught who was the apple of his eye; Vicki Weatherholtz of Lovingston and Kim Reynolds of Stuarts Draft; special nephew, Billy Reynolds; siblings, Mark Weatherholtz, Jr. of Sherando and Garnet Weatherholtz of Waynesboro; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Sherlynd Baptist Church, 20 Winterview Lane, Lyndhurst with Pastor Allen George officiating. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be Dennis Reynolds, Michael Reynolds, Gary Conner, Jr., Stan Hypes, Jr., Barry Varney and Mike Fies.
Honorary pallbearers will be family and friends attending the service.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, May 11, 2018 at the church.
