Pauline Newlen Painter

Born May 9, 1956 in Staunton, she was the daughter of Helen (Gregory) Newlen Morganthal and the late Paul Lacey Newlen, Jr.

Pauline was a very selfless person always giving of her time and resources to others. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, James Johnson.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her siblings, Dennis Lee Newlen, Sr. and wife, Terry of Waynesboro, Tony Newlen and Linda Newlen of Stuarts Draft, Kathy Orebaugh of Staunton and Susie Morganthal of PA; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St., Waynesboro.
