

Mr. Fisher was born on April 1, 1964 in Waynesboro and was the son of the late Jessie Thomas Fisher.
Ricky worked in maintenance for more than 27 years for the Augusta County School System. He later drove a truck for Jason Harvey Trucking and Smith’s Paving. He loved to go hunting, and enjoyed riding his horse Charlie. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Fisher loved to have everyone over to the home for meals and fellowship. Ricky was a man of GOD, and one of his greatest accomplishments was reading his bible cover to cover.
On May 24, 1997, he married the former Lynn Jarvis who survives. They shared 25 wonderful years of marriage together.
In addition to his wife, Ricky is survived by his children, Jeremy Fisher and fiancée, Marsha Jones of Stuarts Draft, Hailey Fisher and significant other, Christopher Brown of Waynesboro; two surviving siblings; four grandchildren, Alia Tarantini, Liam Via, T.J. Jones, Wesley Jones; a great-grandson, Travis Jones; lifelong friend and mother of Jeremy, Lori Guyer; special friend, Jason Neese; and many other close friends and hunting buddies who will greatly miss him.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Amra Tarantini; a brother, Thomas Fisher; and a sister, Bonnie Sue Fisher.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday June 9, 2022 at 10 am at Riverview Cemetery with Robert Morris officiating.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday June 8, 2022 from 6 until 8 PM at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
