Ruby (Ward) Willis

She was born on December 1, 1927 in Afton, a daughter of the late Everett and Ida (Bryant) Ward.

Ruby was a life time member of Rodes United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Sallie Frances and Gladys Maxine.

Survivors include her loving husband, Robert K. Willis; sons, Dennis and wife, Barbara, Harold and wife, Glenda all of Waynesboro; grandsons, Brian, Christopher and Justin; grand-daughter, Heather; great grandchildren, Jacob, Benson, Berkley, Nolan and Aubree; a niece and two nephews.

She also leaves special caregivers, Jane and Corey Kidd; special friend, Russell Fitzgerald.

Following a private burial, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Rodes United Methodist Church, 286 Avon Road, Afton with Rev. Lowell Petry officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

At her request, there will be no public viewing.
