

Sarah Lee Benson Dull, 80, of Waynesboro, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016 at a local nursing home. She was born in Augusta County on August 10, 1935, a daughter of the late William and Nettie Benson Newlen.
Sarah was a member of Reality Church. She could cook the best scallop potatoes around, loved yard selling, and cross-stitching. Sarah had a loving and giving heart,and she never met a stranger.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Dull; son, Larry Thomas Snead; a brother, Samuel Benson, and a dear friend, Lonnie Grogg.
Survivors include her sons, Franklin “Buck” Campbell and his wife, Denise, Ray “Tinker” Campbell and his wife, Paula, Roger Lee Dull and his wife, Linda, and Frankie Eugene James; daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Trimble; a special friend, “Boggie”; 14 grandchildren; as well as numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and extended family members.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Pastor Terrance Williams officiating and music provided by Brent Pirkey. Burial to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
Active Pallbearers will be Evan Hiner, Carl Hiner, Clinton Smith, Chuck Groah, Richard Dodson and Nick Holloway.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
