
Born August 14, 1947 in Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Alice Louise (Sensabaugh) Potter.
Faye was a faithful member of Waynesboro Church of Christ. She greatly enjoyed shopping for antiques and in earlier years had booths located in Stuarts Draft, Fishersville and Lexington. Alongside her husband, she loved collecting antique cookie jars, licenses plates and planters. Faye was a lover of all animals but she especially loved cats and through the years had many as pets. She will be remembered as a loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend to many.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Givens Taylor; and a sister, Vickie L. Potter.
Survivors include her sister, Connie Lawhorn of Henderson, NV; three nieces, Michele Ragsdale, Angela Lawhorn and Heather Miller; one nephew, Jason Nelson; and also her church family.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Riverview Cemetery, 420 Rosser Ave., Waynesboro with Minister Allen Close officiating. Following the service, Waynesboro Church of Christ will be receiving family and friends for a time of fellowship and remembrance.
There will be no formal viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
