Terry Lee Wells, Jr.

Born December 7, 1991 in Chicago, IL he was a son of Anita Fomby and the late Terry Lee Wells, Sr.

TJ was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School Class of 2010. As a student at Robert E. Lee High School, he ran track and played football. Following high school, TJ worked as a certified nursing assistant and was working towards becoming a licensed practical nurse. He took his career seriously and felt blessed to be able to care for others. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed playing basketball and video games with friends, and spending time with family. He also had a real passion for listening to and making music. Known for his sense of humor, TJ always kept friends and family laughing with a quick remark or joke. He had a beautiful imagination and was a great storyteller. Those who knew and loved him most will remember his positive outlook on life and his willingness to do anything for anyone.

Survivors include his mother, Anita Fomby; sister, Teresa Wells; two brothers, Terrell Wells and Terrin Wells; maternal grandmother, Ann Jenkins; maternal grandfather, Clarence Fomby; maternal aunt, Camille Fomby; maternal uncle, David Fomby; paternal grandmother, Virstine Wells; stepmother, Charisse Williams; and stepbrother, Christian Williams.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St., Waynesboro.

There will be no formal services.
