She was born April 26, 1928 in Jefferson Township, Greene County, a daughter of the late John M. and Adrean Shultz McNeely.
Bea was a 1945 graduate of Jefferson High School.
She worked as clerk typist for Central Greene School District from 1969 to 1979; then she was secretary to the President of Waynesburg College from 1979 to 1990.
On November 24, 1950 she married Glenn H. Robinson in the Morrisville United Methodist Church, who is deceased.
She and Glenn lived in Ruff Creek from 1954 to 1971, when they moved to Waynesburg.
Bea was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church since 1955. She served as an organist, and member of the Women’s Mission Circle. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Gas Company and Calvary Baptist Church Missions.
Surviving is a daughter, Susan “Susie” (James) Rayle of Wind Ridge; a son-in-law, Daniel Bailey of Waynesburg; a grandson, Scott D. Bailey of Waynesburg; 3 great grandsons; a sister, Nelle M. Farinelli of Coraopolis; a brother, Sherman R. McNeely of El Paso, TX.
Deceased is a daughter, Sharon Bailey; and a sister, Viola Davis.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, in the Behm Funeral Home, 182 W. High Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370; where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 10:00 am, with Pastor Paul Salosky, officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery, Ruff Creek. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Ruff Creek or Waynesburg University.
