Betty Ruth Johnson Moore

She was born February 14, 1927 in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Orland and Ada Six Johnson.

Mrs. Moore was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and baking, sitting on her front porch, visiting with the neighbors and her hanging baskets of flowers.

Surviving are her husband, Jack, whom she married 67 years ago on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 1947; a son Gary Moore (Julia) of Irwin; a daughter, Rita Moore Chisler (Mark) of Daybrook, WV; four grandchildren, Rebekah Masone (Jesse) of Easton, MD, Dana Mastraianni (Matt) of Trafford, Angela Chisler and Brennen Chisler both of Daybrook, WV; five great grandchildren, Olivia, Juliet, Levi, Violet and Aaron.

Deceased is one sister, Ruby Jean Shirk; four brothers, Ralph, Donald, Robert, and Orland (Junior).

The family would like to thank the staff at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home and Hospice for the care given to Betty.

Friends will be received on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Behm Funeral Homes, Inc., 182 W. High Street, Waynesburg, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 3, 2015. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg. Condolences may be expressed online at www.behmfh.com.
