Glenn "Pickle" Allen Burris

He was born Thursday, August 02, 1945 in Mt. Morris. A son of the late Benjamin "Benny" Franklin Burris, Jr. and Dorothy E. Spicer Burris.

Mr. Burris enjoyed fishing and country western music. He loved singing karaoke. He also enjoyed taking his family to Ryerson State Park. He was a mechanic by trade having worked at several auto repair shops.

He is survived by his wife: Barbara Adkins Burris, whom he married on July 10, 1973.

Also surviving are 5 Daughters: Connie Burris-Taylor, of Mt. Morris, PA., Georgia Snyder, of PA., Tara Burris and her companion Mark Bridge of Prosperity, PA., Elizabeth Burris and her companion Ernest Morris of Bobtown, PA., Crystal Carpenter and her husband Brian of Washington, PA., 14 Grandchildren and Several Great Grandchildren, 3 Sisters: Clara Sue Lemley, of Waynesburg, PA., Mary Lynn Beard, of Waynesburg, PA., and

Dorothy Jean Squires, of Mt. Morris, PA., 4 Brothers: William Dewayne Burris, Sr., of Warren, OH., Fred Franklin Burris, of Houston, PA., Harry Robert Burris Sr., of Houston, PA., and

Frank Jackson Burris, of Waynesburg, PA.

and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM the time of the service Wednesday, November 07, 2018 in the Milliken and Throckmorton FH, Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director,324 Mt. Morris Road, P.O. Box 478 Mt. Morris, PA 15349 with Pastor David McElroy officiating. Burial will be in Garards Fort Cemetery, Garards Fort, PA.
