Glenn has been a big part of my life for a long time.  We were baptized together on the same day when we were kids.  We talked in the hallways after lunch most days in high school.  We later became close friends and he was best man at my wedding.  My sons called him "Uncle Glenn". Glenn was the most good natured person I have ever known.  He was so much fun to be around.  I have had the great fortune of having many fun times and adventures with him.  Nearly everyone I know has heard either Heather or myself tell them a "Glenn story" or two.  I have had more than a lifetime worth of great memories with Glenn in the short time he 
was here.  But it is hard to comprehend that there will be no more.  It is so sad to have lost him so soon, but I can't help but smile when I think of him.  My entire family have fond memories of Glenn and will miss him as well.  Our deepest sympathies to Marilyn,  Jack, John, and the rest of the family.  


Marilyn, John and Jack, I can't find the words to express my sympathy for your great loss.
Glenn was my best friend all through school and I had the pleasure of him being the best man at our wedding.
Although we weren't in touch as often after I moved to Virginia, I will never forget the great times we had together in our youth. 
Rest easy my friend, you will be missed by many.

I really struggled with my “forced” retirement. Glenn helped me more than he knew. Our weekly lunch meetings were a blessing to me I will always cherish. R.I.P. my brother.

My deepest sympathy in the passing of Glenn.

We worked together in the Sheriffs Office under Sheriff Ketchem and subsequently ended up working together at SCI Waynesburg and SCI Fayette.  Most importantly we were friends. He was a great man. You could always rely on Glenn. 
I know and pray he is at peace now.

Marilyn, Jack, John, and family, I’m struggling to find the words to adequately express my sincere sorrow with the passing of Glenn. Perhaps it’s best to recall the wonderful things I remember about Glenn. 
     First, Glenn was an amazing friend. When I was struggling with the choice of whether or not to join the U.S. Army, Glenn was so supportive. He shared with me what I should expect when joining and how best to manage serving. When I was able to take leave and come home from Germany, he made sure I made the most of my time. When I was severely injured at Ft. Hood, when I came home on convalescent leave Glenn was there to show his support. This support helped me to navigate the most darkest period of my life.
     After the military, we remained friends while I attended college in West Virginia but when I returned on the weekends, Glenn and I would always hang out. After school, I began a career that took me out of the area and we didn’t keep in touch as much as we’d like.
     I have many great memories from hangin out with Glenn. But perhaps the thing I’ll remember most about Glenn was his genuine    and caring nature. Glenn was a    “gentle giant”.  Glenn was a good friend. The world is a lesser place without him. 
      I extend my deepest and sincere sympathies and will keep you all in prayer. 

Marilyn, John, Jack and family, I don't even know where or how to start to tell you how my heart breaks for you. Glenn was my first crush in grade school. He was such a good person and such a good friend to my family as you all have been, even though I have lived out of the area for such a long time.  My memories of growing up on the hill, riding bikes and playing "guns" in the woods are among the best of my childhood and Glenn was a part of all that.  
My deepest sympathy at this time of unimaginable loss.
