

She was born September 30, 1927 in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Carl E. and Ethel Gordon Spragg.
She was a graduate of Endicott College in Beverly, Mass.
On February 11, 1948 she married David Lysle Wermlinger who died May 19, 2015.
Mrs. Wermlinger had owned and operated two clothing stores in Waynesburg: The Fashion Shop, and JoAnn’s Village Casuals. She had also worked as a sales representative for Doncaster Fashions.
She was a member of the Washington Street United Methodist Church in Waynesburg and enjoyed playing duplicate bridge.
Surviving are four children, Rebecca Klenert (Joel), Betsy Golding (Jack), David Bruce Wermlinger (Patty), and Barbara Wermlinger; 7 grandchildren, Josh Klenert, Amanda Seibert (Jason) Sean Klenert, Dr. Michael Golding (Laura), Melissa Halstead (Ryan), Molly Kurnal (Joey), and Zach Wermlinger; 7 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Jane Anderson.
Deceased is a daughter, Brenda Wermlinger.
Friends will be received 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8 pm Monday; and from 9 am to 10 am, the hour of services on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High St., Waynesburg, with Rev. Donald Wilson officiating followed by interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Gordon Hill..
