She was born January 27, 1933 a daughter of the late Andrew K. and Gemelia Shahady Rohanna.
Mary was a 1950 graduate of Waynesburg High School.
She was a faithful Catholic all her life.
Mary and her husband owned and operated the Cloverleaf Restaurant in Geneva in the early 1960’s and 1970’s. In 1969 they built and operated Geneva and Ashtabula Medical Centers until 1991 and the Morgantown Nursing Facility in Morgantown, WV. They also owned and operated the Michigan Square Apartments.
On September 28, 1957 she married Joseph G. Wakim, who died June 8, 2003.
Surviving is a daughter, Angelique (Charles) Saliba of Palm Harbor, FL; a grandson, Christopher Joseph “CJ” (Katrina) Wakim of Geneva; a granddaughter, Brigetta Saliba of Palm Harbor, FL; a brother, Robert “Bob” (Patricia) Rohanna of Waynesburg; a sister-in-law, Margaret Rohanna of Woodbine, NJ and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Deceased are six brothers, Kalil A., Isaac P., Woodrow G., Joseph P., Edward J. and Andrew K. Rohanna Jr.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am in the Behm Funeral Home, 182 W. High St., Waynesburg, PA 15370, when a Blessing Service will be held at 11:30 am in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon in St. Ann Worship site of St. Matthias Parish, 232 E. High Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370 with Fr. J. Francis Frazer, celebrant.
