Mona C. Martin

She was born on April 6, 1956 in Waynesburg to the late Charles J. Martin and Iona Kennedy Martin. She worked as a secretary for The Greene County Solicitor, and retired after 33 years as an administrative coordinator at Columbia Gas Transmission. She was a member of Crossroads Church of Christ in McMurray. She enjoyed working at the church, volunteering at the Greene County Humane Society, and she loved animals and sewing.

She is survived by her brother, David L. Martin (Nancy) of Holbrook; sister, Melissa Carty (Tom) of Vass, NC; 3 nieces, Amy Weinstock (Adam), Kristen Martin, and Sara Jane Carty; and 1 nephew, Blake Martin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert C. Martin.

Friends and family are invited to the visitation on Sunday, January 5 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM and a funeral service on Monday, January 6 at 11 AM at Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, PA 15370. A private burial will take place at Greene County Memorial Park.
