Ralph A. Tennant

Ralph A. Tennant, 86, of Waynesburg passed away at 1:28 PM on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Waynesburg Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Waynesburg. Ralph was born on November 1, 1938 in Fairmont, WV a son of the late Arnold Tennant and Irene Headlee Tennant. He graduated from Waynesburg High School Class of 1957. He attended Bethlehem Baptist Church in Ruff Creek, PA. Ralph enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing when he was able. He really enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was an engineer that worked and retired from the Emerald Mine in 1998. His Wife: Martha Wood Tennant, whom he married on August 22, 1958 survives. Also surviving are 4 Sons: Duane A. (Patti) Tennant of Carmichaels, PA, Thomas M. (Cindy) Tennant of Prosperity, PA, John E. (Brenda) Tennant of Prosperity, PA, James F. Tennant of Waynesburg, PA, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, 1 Brother: Frank A. (Robin) Tennant of Mesa, AZ and several nieces and nephews. Deceased: 1 Grandson- Former Greene County Sheriff Brian A. Tennant, 1 Daughter-in-Law: Angie Tennant, 2 Sisters: Doris Byrd and Lanie Tennant and 1 Brother: Robert Tennant

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, June 9, 2025 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, PA 15370 Shane M. Ayers-Managing Director. Funeral Service will be Private and held at the convenience of the family.
