She was born February 16, 1926 at Swarts, a daughter of the late Lon and Arlie Kelly Conklin.
Mrs. McMannes was a lifetime resident of Waynesburg where she was a member of the First Christian Church.
She enjoyed reading her Bible, spending time with her family, and flower gardening.
Surviving are five children, Robert (Darlene) Robison of Waynesburg, Arleta (Norman) Brown of Waynesburg, Denise (Robert) Gray of Waynesburg, Jesse C. (Karen) Robison of Maryland, and Darlene Robison, with whom she made her home; 16 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was the last of her immediate family. Deceased are her first husband Jesse C. Robison; her second husband George David McMannes; 2 grandchildren, Kevin Brown and Julia Robison; 5 brothers, Clyde, Ralph, Willis, Melvin, and Eugene Conklin; and one sister, Betty Wilhoft.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 p.m. & 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday at Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High St., Waynesburg. Services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the funeral home with Michael Hasselbring, minister officiating.
