She was born February 29, 1952 at Waynesburg, a daughter of the late James E. Diggs Sr. and Mary Price Diggs.
She was a graduate of Waynesburg High School, Morgantown Business College and Waynesburg University. She also earned an associate’s degree from Signal Light Bible College.
Miss Diggs worked for several years at the Gateway Mine and later was employed at Washington Steel.
She was a lifetime resident of Waynesburg and member of the Little Zion Baptist Church at Jefferson.
Surviving are two brothers, Phillip D. Diggs (Sherry) of Waynesburg and Herman M. Diggs of Washington; two nieces, Michelle Diggs and Cheryl Sain; one nephew, Philip Rashad Diggs; and four great-nieces, Shontee, Lamia, Malena, and Aubray.
Deceased in addition to her parents is a brother, James E. Diggs Jr.
