

Waynesville-Blanche Rogers, 93, of Waynesville passed away on February 26, 2015, at Autumn Care Nursing Home. Blanche was born in Madison County on April 23, 1921, to the late Pearson and Mae Ferguson. She loved to crochet, shop, and to work in her garden. In addition to her parents, Blanche was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Rogers; three brothers, Guy, Jack, and Bud Ferguson; five sisters, Maggie Gunde, Christine Garnes, Jeanette Perdue, Betty King and Martha Ferguson. Blanche is survived by a son Charles Holland (Barbara; a daughter, Pat Messer (Harold); a sister, Lucy Hardy (Charles); a brother, Bob Ferguson (Shirley); four grandchildren, Patti Tucker (Keith), Kevin Messer (Rhonda), Kim Cutshaw (Jeff), and Jill McClure (Ronnie); five great-grandchildren, Andrew Tucker (Morgan), Matthew Tucker, Emily Jenkins (Aaron), Sarah Messer and Nathan Cutshaw; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 1, 2015, at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Reverend Billy Ferguson officiating. Entombment will follow.
