Clinton William Pruett

Waynesville-Clinton William Pruett, 94 passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at the NC Veteran's Home in Black Mountain. Clinton was born in Haywood County on May 17, 1927, to the late Grady and Eva Mae Mills Pruett.

In addition to his parents, Clinton was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Stone Pruett; his brothers, Gordon and Guy Pruett; and his sisters, Irene Plemmons and Leoah Walton.

Clinton is survived by his daughter, Delores "Dee" Pruett Fisher (Kevin); sister, Frances Hays (George Edwin); grandchildren, Brandon Thomason (Rebecca) and Nicole Thomason; great-grandson, Jackob Vance (Sabrina); and great-great-grandchildren, Leila, Odin, Theodore, and Emoriya.

A private funeral service will be held.

The family would like to offer a special word of thanks to Angela Baynard (Dean), Jameta Earley (Carroll), Rebecca "Becky" Stone Campbell (John), Sandra Stone Ellis (Smith), James Robert "Buddy" Stone, Jr., Terry Stone (Lisa), Melanie Stone Peeples and Frances Hays (George Edwin) for being such a supportive extended family for Dee.
