Dan Monroe Robinson

Daniel "Dan" Monroe Robinson, age 82, passed away on December 7, 2025. Dan was born on September 5, 1943, in Newport News, VA to the late Albert and Mildred Marlow Robinson. Dan was a skilled handyman who was known for his talent to fix almost anything and his generous spirit in helping family, friends and strangers with whatever he could. He enjoyed cooking, golfing, and spending time with family and friends. Dan was known for his warm personality and love of sharing good meals and laughter with those around him.

In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his sisters, Louise Williams, Mona Henson, and his brothers Wendell and Joe Robinson.

Dan is survived by his daughter, Tina Robinson Orf (Ron); son, Jeff Robinson; Lolly Kreider his sweetheart. He is also survived by his grandchildren Nathaniel and Caroline Orf, Marisa Kopczinsky and his great-grandchild Xavier Hall. Additional surviving members include his brother Sam Robinson (Gerry) and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 15, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverend Holly Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
