Donald Hamilton Maney

Donald Hamilton Maney “Loving Family Man” Donald Hamilton Maney, 83, of Waynesville, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Mission Hospital. He was born February 14, 1932 to the late Frank Maney and Maude Hamilton Smith. Donald was a US Army Veteran. He was a Production Manager for many years at BASF formerly American Enka. He was a member of the Maple Grove United Methodist Church. He had a love for fishing and boating at Fontana Lake, traveling, and fixing things. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by, twin brother, Ronald Maney and sister, Margaret Moore. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Margaret Maney; son, Michael Maney; daughter, Donna Maney Metzler and husband Lester; brother, George Maney and wife Norma; sister in law, Juanita Maney; sister, Blake Dianna Rogers; granddaughter, Rhiannon Holbrook and husband Nathan; great grandchildren, Caylee Davis, Emma Burress, and Lucas Burress. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Maple Grove United Methodist Church with the Reverend Hugh Russell officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the Fellowship Hall of the Church.
