Eugene Rayford Cullin Jr., age 86, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at the age of 86. Eugene was born in Haywood County on January 26, 1940, to the late Rayford S. and Myrtle Lenoir Cullin.
In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by his brother, John Henry Cullin.
Eugene is survived by his sisters, Janie Carson and Deborah Cullin; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Homegoing Celebration will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 2, at Jones Temple AME Zion Church with the Reverend Teresa Stafford officiating. The family will receive friends from 12-1 pm prior to the service at the church.
A Private Burial will be held at the WNC State Veterans Cemetery.
