Eva (Hightower) Robinson

Waynesville, NC - Eva Hightower Robinson, age 89, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021. She was born on December 15, 1931 to the late Carl and Myrtle Inman Hightower.

Eva worked at Maggie Valley Country Club as their head of housekeeping. She was a caregiver to the children at the First Baptist Church of Waynesville's daycare. She was a longtime member of Ninevah Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Robinson; daughter, Deborah Lynn Robinson Schandeval; brothers, William Hightower of Austin, TX and Paul Hightower of SC.

Left to cherish her memory is her two daughters, Tammy Moody and Mike Early and Kathy Conard and her husband, Howell; grandchildren, Denise Conard, Laura Conard, Tyler Moody; great grandchildren, Jessica, Jeremy, Zachary, Emma and Kinsley; great great grandchildren, Brylea, Jackson, Kyra, and Levi; and several dear cousins, nieces and nephews that were truly loved.

Funeral services for Eva will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Ninevah Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow services at Green Hill Cemetery.
