James Allen Cooke, age 75, of Clyde, NC passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. James was born December 29, 1946 in Waynesville, NC to the late Jay Cooke and the late Katherine (Lawrence) Birchfield Pressley.
James retired from the NCDOT. He was a member of Mission Baptist Church.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 51 years, Donna Jane Hannah Cooke; daughter, Jennifer (John) Cooke Green; granddaughter, Jocelyn Green and two brothers, Lewis Cooke and Gary (Sheila) Cooke.
Graveside memorial service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Bethel Community Cemetery.
