Janet Lynn Griffin Worley

Waynesville-Janet Lynn Worley, 41, of Waynesville, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014, following a heart condition. Lynn was born on November 4, 1973, to Carl and Janet Lowe Griffin. Lynn was a devoted mother to her son Dylan and loved to watch him play football and wrestle. She was also a loving and devoted wife for 19 years to her husband Junior. Lynn was an avid Tarheel fan and had a deep love for animals. Lynn had a very strong testimony and love for the Lord. She truly loved her family and her church family at North Hazelwood Baptist Church. Lynn was preceded in death by her Dedaddy, Edwin Lowe, Sr.; her Papaw, Frank Griffin, Sr.; and her Granny, Helen Davis Griffin. Lynn is survived by her husband, George “Junior” Worley, Jr.; her son, Dylan Worley; her parents, Carl and Janet Lowe Griffin; her Granny, Bobbie Robbins Lowe; her sister Lisa Stiles and her husband Paul; nieces, Kaitlyn Stiles and Holly Palmer; and her nephews, Zack Stiles and Logan Palmer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 12, at North Hazelwood Baptist Church with the Reverend James Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Spring Creek. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, December 11, at Garrett Funerals and Cremations and at other times at the residence of Paul and Lisa Stiles.
