John Monroe Moore, born June 1st, 1940 and was a lifelong resident of Haywood County. He was called home on November 4th, 2025. Where he went to school or where he worked is not important. What matters now is he is gone from his family who loved him very much. No longer will we have you to joke, camp, fish, hunt, picnic nor will we have you to teach us new things. Embrace the family that went before you and we will see you again someday. The family would like to thank everyone at Haywood Lodge/Spicewood and Haywood Regional ICU for all the care and support they have given. A private family service will be held at a later date.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Jeffery Moore (Ginger); daughter, Lisa Moore; and granddaughter, Miranda Lankford (Logan).
