Kenneth "Pug" "Buddy" Morris

Waynesville -Kenneth “Pug” “Buddy” Morris, 70, died on March 30, 2016. Kenneth was born in Murphy, North Carolina, to the late Talmadge O. and Carolyn Stiles Morris. He was a US Marine Corp veteran who served two tours in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandra Setzer Morris; his daughter Brandi Morris Wheeler (Mike) of Manning, South Carolina; two grandchildren, Randal Steele Morris (Jessica) of Knoxville, Tennessee and Harley Ann Wheeler of Manning, South Carolina; one great-grandchild, Bryant Asbury Morris of Knoxville, Tennessee; a sister, Joy Patton (David) of Marion, North Carolina; a sister-in-law Judy Setzer Wiltin (Steve) of Acworth, Georgia; a niece and several nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with Reverend Richard Buff and the Reverend Erma Bond officiating. Burial will follow in Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to either Shriners Hospitals for Children, 950 W.
