Linda Vance Pickens “Nana” Linda Vance Pickens, 76 passed away July 27, 2015 at her residence in the Bethel community. She was born in Haywood County on December 1, 1938 to the late Turner and Genevieve Warren Vance. She was committed to her family and always enjoyed spending precious time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Penny Pickens Hunnicutt. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Rita Wilson and her husband Clarke; grandchildren, Vance Wilson and his wife Erika and Branson Wilson; two sisters, Lelia Messer and her husband Bill and Mildred Kitze and her husband Karl and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A celebration of her life will be held at 4 PM Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Riverside Baptist Church on Lake Logan Road. The family will receive friends on Sunday prior to the service at the church from 3 to 4 PM.
