Linda Joyce Williamson

January 2, 1943 - May 10, 2026

Linda Joyce Williamson, 83 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday May 10, 2026. Linda was born in Newport News, Virginia on January 2, 1943, to the late James Arvil Cochran and Elma Sarah Moody. Linda was a member of Rocky Branch Freewill Baptist Church and a faithfully devoted Christian.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brothers Harold and James Cochran, sister Barbara Stull, son Eddie Gaddis, daughter Sharon Guard and stepson Dean Williamson.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Bobby Hayes Williamson; brother Jack Cochran, son Buddy (Mona) Gaddis, stepdaughters Sheila Ensley-Culligan (Michael) and Debbie (Buster) Deitz.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday May 20, in the Chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Pastor Jeff Heatherly and the Reverend Jeremy Gibbs officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm with a chapel Memorial Service starting at 2:00 pm.

The family would like Linda to be remembered for her love of Jesus Christ and about how you are going to spend eternity.
