Melody Rodriguez “Loving Wife, Mother & Grandmother” Melody Rodriguez, 50, of Waynesville, is no longer with us as of October 27, 2014. She was born January 28, 1964 in Akron, OH to the late George and June Sours. Survivors include, her loving husband Gabriel Raya; children, Lisa (Adelio), Angel (Chester), Allen (Veronica), Juan (Vero), Jose (Ana), Marcella (Dandi); five brothers, Jack, Martin, Raymond, Gary, and Tony; four sisters, Beverly, Rita, Teresa, and Robin; and nine grandchildren. The family will gather together with friends from 1 to 3 PM on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Garrett Funeral Home, 460 North Main Street, Waynesville, NC 28786.
