Paul Dean Jackson

Haywood NC, Paul Dean Jackson was born in Clyde, NC on September 30, 1934 to Sam and Winnie Jackson. Paul was happily married to Phyllis Morgan. He is also survived by children Shelly Coker, Kevin Jackson, Sheila Crawford, Beth Lewis, brother Ray and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and other special family members.

Paul graduated from Clyde High School and the University of Tennessee as a Mechanical Engineer. He served two years in the US Army and worked 26 years at Dayco. He operated Jackson Small Engine Repair, drove a school bus and volunteered for Meals on Wheels for many years. Paul loved to go bass fishing on his favorite Lake Hartwell. He enjoyed the outdoors and sports, especially Tennessee College football.

The family will gather and receive friends from 2 to 4 PM on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Garrett Funeral Home.
