Waynesville-Pearl Conner, 80, died peacefully on August 20, 2016, surrounded by her “babies”. Pearl was born in Augusta, Georgia, on September 27, 1935, to the late Hugh and Katherine Martin Dennis. Pearl was a registered nurse for 50 years and was a member of Maggie Valley United Methodist Church. Pearl is survived by her daughters, Dawn and Debbie; her brother, Billy; her grandchildren, Ashley, Rachael, Sarah, Noah, and Mikhayla; and her great-grandchildren, Lane and Aubrey. A memorial service celebrating Pearl's life will be held at 2:00 PM on September 24, 2016, at Maggie United Methodist Church.
