

Waynesville-Reba Brown Rhodarmer, 79, died on Friday, November 17, 2017, at her residence. Reba was born in Haywood County on May 24, 1938, to the late Boone and Cora Carver Brown. Reba enjoyed working in her flowers, camping, reading and “going places”. She was known for writing poetry and her artwork. In addition to her parents, Reba was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Rhodarmer; brothers, Lloyd and Robert Brown; sisters, Hilda Morgan and Lucille McCord. Reba is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Phillips; grandson Ethan Phillips and his wife Jessica; great-granddaughter, Annalisse Phillips; and sisters, Wilma Smith and her husband, Joe and Phyllis McClure and her husband, Mike. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 21, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverend Jake Cagle and the Reverend Billy Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday, November 20, at Garrett Funerals and Cremations and at other times at the family residence.
