Rosa Lee Baird Baird Campbell

Waynesville-Rosa Lee Baird Campbell, 82, died on May 18, 2016, at Haywood Regional Medical Center. Rosa was born in LaFollette, TN, on March 25, 1934, to the late Robert and Nora Shoun Baird. Her loving childhood with her grandparents, Andrew and Sarah Shoun, was the foundation which enabled her, with life’s circumstances, to make a great life for her children, grandchildren and many others. Rosa’s faith in God allowed her to have a great outlook on her life. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Rosa was an angel on earth and now is her family’s angel in Heaven. In addition to her parents, Rosa was preceded in death by her husband, James Curtis Campbell; her son, Bobby Joe Campbell; and her brother, William Howard Baird. Rosa is survived by her daughters, Lee Anne Campbell (Vincent Shuck) and Lynne Walsh (Richard Money); a devoted son, Eric Campbell; brother, Robert Baird; grandchildren, Rhett Campbell, Rebecca Walsh Hurley (Robert), and William Campbell Walsh; daughter-in-law, Lisa Campbell; and special niece, Valerie Wilson. A memorial service celebrating Rosa’s life will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, May 23, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverend Larry LoMonaco officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
