1967 – 2017 Hazelwood, NC - Ruel Davis, 50 passed away at his home on February 13, 2017. He was born on January 10, 1967 to the late Jerry Davis and Sara Johnson. He loved Blugrass music, Pickings, Square Dancing, Nascar and Balsam. He is preceded in death by daughter, Kendra Davis. Left to cherish his memory are his extended family, Mary Ann Moore, Deborah Evans, Kendra Moore, Ronnie and Keith Moore, Kayla Moore; the love of his life, Clara Jo Warren; grandson, JJ Martin; step daughter, Brandy Brooks; and surviving by a life-long best friend, Jimmy “Dude” Stiles among many other friends and family. Memorial Services will be held at 4PM on Friday, February 24, 2017 in the Chapel of Garrett Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 30 minutes prior.
