Balsam-Sherry Lynn Dills Sherrill, 58, died on Sunday, August 27, 2017, after a lengthy illness. Sherry was born in Haywood County on September 29, 1958, to William Troy Dills and the late Elizabeth Caldwell Dills. Sherry enjoyed working with her flowers in her yard, refinishing furniture, shopping at thrift stores, and playing cars with Avery. In addition to her mother, Sherry was preceded in death by niece, Anjana Harkins. In addition to her father, Sherry is survived by her daughter Laura Sherrill; her adopted son, Dawson Sherrill; her brother, Michael Dills (Jane); sister, Brenda Silvers (Keith); a grandchild, Avery; one niece and two nephews; and her cat, Isabelle and her dog, Quest.
