During the time  when I think about my dear friend. I am so thankful karen introduced me to her family. I am so grateful for  another special gift from her.  Once we were wearing sandals and we discovered we had a little birthmark  on the same toe . We laughed and I told her we were sisters because of our matching toe  birthmark. I can write about her all day because my heart is full of living memories. I will always treasure the years of advice she has shared with me. (((((( HUGS )))) to all who LOVE  and miss  Karen /  Kay

There are many days I will think about my dear friend and sad tears just flow like a river. There are some days I will think about karen and I will laugh and cry happy tears. There are some days I will  just think  and think about Karen while walking or just listening to easy listening must.  I truly believe she has given us so many gifts . One of the gifts she has given me is... After my mother  died I told karen there's no way I was going to  be able to live without my mother.  Karen told me I am stronger than I think I am. She was FULL OF LOVE and WISDOM !

To Bob & family,  I remember Kay from Sumner High School & she was an absolute jewel.  She had a wonderful spirit about her. Even though I had not seen her in a long time, she will be missed.  You will be in my thoughts & prayers.

Kay was a beautiful person--always kind and generous. Although I have not seen her for many years, I remember her as a light for goodness. She will be missed.

Kay was a brilliant star with radiance that captured you. An essence that glimmered with love, strength,sweetness and such a loving soul. I felt so honored to have known you and you will always be in my heart dearest one. My love and prayers go out to Bob and the family.

Ever since the first time I met Rich, I realized what a special person he was and knew had to come from an amazing family. Hearing him talk about the love he has for his mother and how brave  he thought she was to battle her illness for so long was inspiring. I am so very sorry for what you all are going through. I send my love and I know heaven must have received a very special angel.

The song writer was correct..it is so hard to say goodbye. I will always treasure the memories my buddy and I have  created. We often called each other Buddy because... we were more than friends!

Kay has set the bar high in showing all who knew her what it means to be a loving wife and mother. The trappings of mortality fade away, but families are forever, I am glad to be part of yours.

I had the opportunity to dance with Karen's son, Richard, in a program titled "The Journey".  Richard, you, your mother and family will be in my thoughts and prayers as you remember, honor, and celebrate your mother's journey of life.

I have known Karen since high school. She was alway a a loving and respectable lady. She was a good friend, a wonderful big sister, a great wife and mother and a woman I admired. My heart goes out to her husband, children, family and Penny.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Yoder family as Kay continues her journey through all of the worlds of God. It was a great honour to know and sing with Kay.  I will always remember her radiant smile and the love and warmth which she radiated.

Kay's devotion to Faith and family has been inspirational. Her grace, her courage, her "full of love" smile, and her kind ways will not be forgotten. My world has been blessed for having known her.

The whole Yoder family has always been an inspiration and a source of joy. Kay was an especially important person in my life, who set an example of how to face adversity with courage and enjoy life with a light heart and a quick laugh. Her music and her kind voice have always been a support.

Her passing is a great loss for humanity. Beside her utmost artistic talents, and being a great mother, she was a great person. She was one of the first people who opened her arm to my family  when we didn't know anyone in St. Louis. Kay, our hearts ache for your passing, but you are now in the infinite beauty. May the blessed beauty confirm you and your beloved family in all the journeys of your lives.

I am ever grateful to God that I had the honor of knowing this beautiful, gracious soul. She has always been an example for me of a strong, loving, and wise woman.  Her beautiful family is a living testament to this. You are already sorely missed, Kay.

Kay was a most remarkable and beautiful soul. I cherish my many memories of Carnegie Hall, concert tours to Europe, special times at Louhelen, singing with her at the House of Worship and having the privilege of getting to know the Yoder family.

Her bright light has been transformed into a "star" joining with her dear friend, Ernie, to sparkle in the heavens. I will forever see their glow when I look to the sky at night.. Theirs will be the brightest by far.
