Linda Jane Mullins of Kirkwood died of natural causes on Saturday, April 16. A graduate of Webster Groves High School, class of 1965, Linda was a lifelong resident of Webster/Kirkwood except for her college years at Athens State University in Alabama. She was passionately loyal to her high school, her family, her friends, the St. Louis Cardinals, Jimmy Buffett, Barack Obama, the Saturday morning yard-sale circuit, the animal kingdom, and her treasured clients at The Webster-Kirkwood Times, where she was in advertising sales for most of her career. Linda served as president of her condo association and was deeply committed to her neighbors and neighborhood, which she surveyed every morning as she walked to the local convenience store for her giant diet cola. Linda was old-school in her love of personal connections with neighbors, friends, family, and clients—a true friend in life, not the new kind of “Friend” on Facebook. Her big smile, infectious laugh, and focused energy made her fun company to her wide circle of family and friends. She is survived by her older brother, Dail Weir Mullins, Jr., of St. George Island, Florida, and his son and daughter-in-law Christopher and Ashley Mullins and their daughter, Cleo; and by her younger brother, Dennis Richard Mullins, of Ballwin, his wife, Terri Mullins, their daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Don Sternhagen and their daughter, Jillian, and their son and daughter-in-law, Tyler and Kristin Mullins.
