I'm so sorry for the loss of Mary. She was the president of our senior class at Fontbonne - well liked by everyone, fun, friendly, quick to see the humor in a situation, and also very capable.  We planned a class reunion together in 2002, and in doing so figured out that we had ancestors in common in the little Irish town of Tipton.  She offered to visit there with me and I took her up on the offer.  I think I expected some day to follow up on those connections we explored.  I wish we still could. My son and his family live near you. I will be thinking of you and Mary when I walk near your home and I will be hoping for your peace and happiness.

You are in my heartfelt thoughts and prayers during this sad time.  I know I am just merely one of many whose life was forever touched and mightily enhanced during the years Mary was my friend.   As I've learned of her accomplishments, pursuits and interests, what an inspiring legacy she leaves of a woman who fully lived and fully loved always retaining her thirst for new knowledge and experiences.
