Born in Cairo, IL on July 22, 1940, he was the only child of Clyde and Stella (Terry) Reed and was raised in Sikeston, MO. He was the loving husband of Nancy (Linam) Reed for 50 years, the dear father of Leah (Gerry) Callahan and Ellen (Tim) Reed-Fox; beloved grandfather of Joseph, Philip, Leslie, and Rachel Callahan, and Maggie and Kate Fox.
Terry was an architect and artist who saw the world through a spatial lens. He loved his family first and foremost, but also had a soft heart for animals, especially the many pets he spoiled over the years. He enjoyed fishing, reading, drinking beer and wine, smoking cigars, fireworks, and always enjoyed a great meal. Terry was charming, had a wicked sense of humor, and loved to tell jokes and laugh. He had a crusty side to be sure, but those who loved him and knew him well also saw the incredibly soft heart beneath the gruff exterior. He will live on in the hearts of many.
