Annette LaCour Kramer

She was born in Welsh, Louisiana, August 14, 1916, to Bennett J. and Minnie LaCour. She taught school in Lacassine, she then married her husband of 65 years , Philip O. Kramer. Together they raised four children. She was a Charter Member of the Catholic Daughters Stella Maris Court. She moved to Villa Maria in Lake Charles for the last four years of her life and made many new friends.

She is survived by her son, Philip O. Kramer, Jr. and his wife Jane Dupuis, and Kenneth L. Kramer and his wife Jennifer McMillian, her daughters, Karen Bradshaw and her husband Fred and Betty Anderson. She was the proud grandmother of Kimberly Branch, Pamela Branch, Stephen Kramer, and his wife Charlotte, Stuart Kramer and his wife Michelle, Sean Kramer, Meredith McMillian, Scott Edwards and his wife Meredith and Kacey Anderson. She has eight great grandchildren, Caroline Kramer, Mary Clare Kramer, Sara Kate Kramer, Maggie Kramer, Colin Kramer, Kara Kramer, Jacqueline Hance and Sydney Ham.

Pallbearers are her grandsons, Stephen Kramer, Stuart Kramer, Sean Kramer, Scott Edwards, Colin Kramer, her nephew, Ronald Theriot and family friend, Leo Boger.

The funeral service will be At 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church. Rev. Herbert May will officiate. Burial will be the Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh, Tuesday from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.
