Belynn Frey

Mr. Frey was born in Eunice and resided in Roanoke. He was a rice and cattle farmer for 47 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed his time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Frey; daughters, Dianna Frey of Roanoke, Donna Davidson of Welsh, Blanche Richard and husband, Ty of Roanoke; son, Richard Frey and wife, Rachel of Roanoke; sister, Colleen Melancon of Iota; brothers, Rodney Frey of Lake Charles, Ralph Frey of Mowata; 16 grandchildren, Spencer, Kade, Blake, Sadie, Maggie, Claire, Jill and Kelly Frey, Dustin, Will, Nick and Brett Davidson, Alexis, Caleb, Wyatt and Grace Richard and 2 great grandchildren, Mia Richard and Zane Davidson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Winston Frey and Inez Daigle Frey.

His funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church. Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh on Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. til time of service.
