She was a member of Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Pitre; sons, David Faulk and Darrel Faulk and wife, Elizabeth; brother, Clyde Leger Jr. and wife, Paulette; sister, Carol LaCroix and husband, Leo Sr.; granddaughters, Meagan Faulk and Katie Faulk and fiancé, Chad Stelly Sr.; great granddaughters, Ashley and Allison Miller; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2pm, Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church. The Father Charles McMillan and Rev. Pam Roy will officiate. Visitation will begin Tuesday 4pm-8pm with a rosary at 6pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh and resume Wednesday 10am until time of service. Pallbearers will be Lee Dalton, Wade Watkins, Scott Leger, Dutch LeBlanc, Leo LaCroix Jr. and Dr. Pierre Daboval. Honorary Pallbearers will be Donald Pitre, Leo LaCroix Sr., Ben Leger, Paul LaCroix Sr. and S.C. Fisher. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
