She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church and a longtime member of the Catholic Daughters. She enjoyed playing games on her laptop and coloring color books; and loved watching the comedies on TV. Dot enjoyed talking on the phone to her family and friends. She always had a helping hand and would help anyone in need.
She is survived by her two daughters, Vickie Polk, Janet Iguess and husband Wendell, both of Welsh; two grandchildren, Wendi Iguess of Welsh, Jonathan Iguess of Welsh; step granddaughter, Jaime Irvin (Kelly) of Shreveport; eleven great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Dot is preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years, Morris Coulston.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, with Father Alan Trouille officiating. Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, with a Rosary at 6:00pm led by the Catholic Daughters. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, from 8:00am until the procession to the church. Burial will follow at Bon Pasteur Cemetery.
