Frances Tate Sonnier

She was a member of Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church, The Catholic Daughters, The Rosary Group and The Altar Society. She was also an Avon Representative, a member of the Welsh Home Demonstration Club and the Jeff Davis Council on Aging.

She is survived by her son, Aubry Sonnier and wife Marcelitte of Jennings; daughters, Purvina S. Boudreaux and husband Darrel of Lafayette; Charlotte S. Mitchell of Lake Charles and Mary Ann Sonnier of Lake Charles; twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Zenis Sonnier; daughter, Deborah Ann Pickle; parents, Edwin and Louisa Tate and four grandchildren Rosalyn, Chad, Cathy and Troy Sonnier.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 7, 2013 at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church. Rev. Herbert May will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. and resume Friday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh.
