She was born in Lake Charles and had lived in Lacassine for most of her life. Geraldine was a member of St. John Catholic Church. She worked for many years at Rabideaux Sausage Kitchen. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald "Butch" Foreman of Lacassine and Kevin Foreman of Iowa; one sister, Deen Hood of Lake Charles; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wilbert James Foreman, Jr. and one son, Jeff Foreman.
Her funeral will be at 11a.m. Thursday, February 20, 2014 at St. John Catholic Church. The Reverend Roland Vaughn will officiate. Burial will be in Lacassine Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh. Visitation is from 4p.m. to 9p.m. Wednesday and from 8a.m. until service time Thursday in the funeral home.
