

Funeral service for Julie Annette Lyon Daigle, 48, will be held at 11am Wednesday, May 2 2012 from Our Lady Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Welsh with Rev. Herbert May officiating.
Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home in Welsh.
Funeral home visitation will be from 5pm-9pm on Tuesday and on Wednesday from 9am until service time. A rosary will be recited at 6pm Tuesday.
Ms. Daigle died on Sunday, April 29, 2012.
Ms. Daigle was a native of Welsh and resided in Lacassine She was born in Lake Charles on October 11, 1963, daughter of Mary Sue and Gilbert Lyon, Jr. Ms. Daigle graduated from St. Maria Goretti High School in Lake Arthur. She was a member of Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church, and a member of Court Stella Maris Catholic Daughters of America and Live Oak Chapter Society of the Daughters of The American Revolution. She was employed at Lords and Ladies in Lake Charles.
Survivors include her parents, her children, Ashley Hanks and husband, Michael of Welsh, Heather Borne and husband, Staff Sergeant Richard of San Antonio, TX and Tiffany Daigle and fiancé, Robert Lowe of Lacassine; father of their children, Preston Keith Daigle of Lacassine; grandchildren, Calyn Daigle, Carley Hanks, Hannah and Trinity Borne; brothers, Gilbert A. Lyon III and Ted Lyon and wife, Sara of Lake Charles, Jeffery Lyon and wife, Charlotte of Welsh and Timothy Lyon and wife, Michelle of Roswell, New Mexico; sister, Suzanne Hebert and husband, Kevin of Round Rock, TX; aunt, Anne Monlezun and husband, Dr. Lee J. and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ms. Daigle was preceded in death by her grandparents Evelyn and Wilbur Prague and Gilbert and Elodie Lyon.
Julie was loved by all, never meeting a stranger. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
