Michael was born to parents Harrell Harrison and wife Verna on August 15, 1958 in Watson, LA. He spent his life in Louisiana but lived in Welsh for 31 years. His mother said if "he (Michael) had been born the first born he would have been the last born." He was known to be a very stubborn child and once got his head stuck in a fence and his mother wasn't thrilled.
Michael met his loving wife Mary in 1991 while they were working for the same company. He was in Baton Rouge, LA and she was in Lake Charles. Mary asked Michael to look up a serial number but had really given him her phone number; he was confused and said it wasn't a good number, her response was for him to call it. They were a match made from there and were married for 30 years.
He worked for Acme Refrigeration in Lake Charles for many years and retired in 2017. He had plenty of hobbies that included: taking his boat out and fishing, cleaning ducks at Lacassane Company, he enjoyed watching TV and shows like HGTV, Swamp People, and Counting Cars. Mary even got him to watch Golden Girls for good laughs. You always have to laugh at Golden Girls. He loved family time and hanging out with his friends. He liked to barbecue, mow his grass on his father's riding lawn mower (John Deere!). Most of all he was a loving husband, father, and doting grandfather.
